About Beckoning Design

When Karen Hoskin was a bride herself in 1996, she did what most brides do as they embark on a search for wedding invitations. She sat down at a local print shop to inspect several huge binders of invitations. An hour later, she realized that the invitation she was seeking simply did not exist. And, inadvertently, she started her own business.

The invitation Karen designed for her own wedding became her first advertisement. By 1998, requests for invitations and announcements from friends had become so numerous that she created Beckoning Design, a business founded on the principle that Karen's clients were seeking something different, eye catching, thought provoking, and tone setting.

Her self-taught formula worked, and has proved not to be limited to invitations. Soon clients began requesting logos, marketing materials, brochures, t-shirts, advertisements, product labels, web sites and more. Today, Beckoning Design's clients range from Arizona to Missouri, California to Colorado, Maine to Montana. The internet has allowed us to enjoy the creative process with clients all over the country instead of just next door. Maybe we'll be getting to know you next!
